Hello, I'm Rachael.
I work in the front office here at Car Care Clinic, although you may see me out in the garage from time to time helping out with oil changes and other small jobs. I am also the bookkeeper for the company, and am usually hiding behind the glass wall working on something. I have my associate’s degree in accounting from Blackhawk Technical College, followed by my bachelor’s degree in accounting from Upper Iowa University. I worked in retail and retail health for almost 10 years before joining the team here at Car Care Clinic in 2017.
I grew up in the garage with my father as he built and restored our family’s classic vehicles. It taught me a lot about the value of a vehicle and how with a little bit of investment and maintenance a vehicle can keep going forever. My husband and I have now taken over the care of our 1954 Ford Panel truck, and it is still one of my biggest pride and joy. We hope to someday be able to restore a vehicle of our own from the ground up with our son, just like my father did with me when I was young.
Someone once told me that a vehicle is the second biggest investment a person makes in their life, second only to their house. I firmly believe in taking care of the things we have, and in turn they will take care of us. We are here to help you to maintain and take care of your vehicle by helping to make informed decisions on your investment. I hope that we can become your trusted local mechanic shop for all of your vehicles' needs, for many years to come.
Stop in today and say hello!
